The defining feature of the Ryzen 7 7700X3D is AMD 3D V-Cache technology, which stacks an additional SRAM layer directly on top of the processor die to deliver 96MB of L3 cache (104MB total). Games constantly request unpredictable data from memory, and that oversized cache keeps far more of it right beside the cores, cutting latency and lifting frame rates in CPU-limited scenarios. It is the same 96MB of L3 cache found on the celebrated Ryzen 7 7800X3D.
