The ASUS ROG XREAL R1-N is the world's first 240Hz Micro-OLED gaming AR smartglasses, developed by ROG in partnership with XREAL. Each eye gets a Full HD (1920 x 1080) Sony Micro-OLED display with a 240Hz refresh rate and 0.01ms response time, projecting a virtual screen equivalent to a 171-inch display. Weighing just 91g and featuring Sound by Bose audio, they turn a PC, console or ROG Ally handheld into a private, big-screen gaming experience.

240Hz Micro-OLED Display

At the heart of the R1-N is a pair of Sony Micro-OLED panels running Full HD per eye at an industry-leading 240Hz refresh rate with a 0.01ms response time, delivering exceptionally smooth, sharp visuals for fast-paced and competitive gaming. The 57-degree field of view projects a virtual screen equivalent to 171 inches viewed from around four metres, covering the focused viewing area for a genuinely immersive experience. Electrochromic lenses automatically adjust tint to suit your surroundings, or can be controlled manually.

Immersive Audio and 3DoF

Native 3DoF support brings both Anchor Mode, which pins the virtual screen in a fixed position so you can glance away without losing your place, and Follow Mode, where the screen moves with your head. Sound by Bose audio is tuned specifically for the R1, delivering immersive spatial sound without the need for separate headphones. At just 91g, the glasses are designed for comfortable extended use at home or on the move.

ROG Control Dock Connectivity

The included ROG Control Dock solves one of AR gaming's biggest pain points, offering DisplayPort 1.4 and two HDMI 2.0 inputs so you can connect a PC and a console and switch between them with a single button press. For ROG Ally and Ally X owners, the glasses connect directly over USB-C with zero setup for true plug-and-play gaming. Compatible with a wide range of PCs, consoles and mobile devices, the R1-N is a flexible, portable display solution.
