The Cooler Master V4 Alpha 3DHP is a tower CPU air cooler using just two heat pipes yet rivalling conventional four-pipe coolers, thanks to Cooler Master's 3DHP technology. Dual 120mm Mobius fans deliver up to 63.1 CFM with noise kept to 22.6 dBA, and the heatsink is styled after a classic V-configuration engine. Socket support spans Intel LGA 1851 through 1156 and AMD AM5 and AM4, with CryoFuze thermal paste included.

3DHP Heat Pipe Technology

3DHP is the reason this cooler performs beyond what its two heat pipes suggest. Standard U-shaped pipe layouts leave a dead zone in the middle of the fin stack where no pipe passes, and 3DHP fills it by opening each U-shaped pipe, inserting an additional length of pipe, and resealing it. Internally the pipes combine sintered powder and grooved channels in varying textures, which transfers heat more efficiently than a single structure. Fewer pipes in better positions also means less turbulence through the fins, so the cooler runs quieter for the same airflow.

Dual Mobius 120 Fans

Two 120mm Mobius fans handle the airflow, and they are deliberately unmatched rather than identical. The front fan runs to 2050 RPM delivering 63.1 CFM at 2.69 mmH2O static pressure with a maximum of 22.6 dBA, while the rear fan runs to 1850 RPM at 50.5 CFM and 20 dBA. Pairing a stronger intake with a gentler exhaust pulls air through the fin stack without adding unnecessary noise at the back. Both use a Loop Dynamic Bearing rated beyond 200,000 hours MTTF and connect via 4-pin PWM, so the motherboard controls speed automatically.

Socket Support and Fitment

Socket compatibility is comprehensive, covering Intel LGA 1851, 1700, 1200, 1151, 1150, 1155 and 1156 alongside AMD AM5 and AM4. That spans everything from a current Core Ultra or Ryzen 9000 build to a much older system being refreshed. CryoFuze thermal paste is supplied in the box, which is a better compound than the generic paste most coolers at this price include. V-Engine Design

The heatsink is styled after a classic V-configuration automotive engine, which gives it a distinctive look without relying on RGB lighting.
