Creative Pebble SE 2.0 USB-C Desktop Speakers with RGB Lighting - Black

The Creative Pebble SE 2.0 USB-C Desktop Speakers with RGB Lighting is a 2.0 desktop speaker set delivering 4.4W RMS, powered and fed audio over a single cable. Customisable RGB lighting adds a visual element without affecting the audio. Finished in black, the compact Pebble shape sits either side of a monitor without taking up the desk.

RGB Lighting with Seven Presets

The SE takes the original Pebble and adds RGB lighting with seven built-in presets, controlled on the speaker itself rather than requiring software. It keeps the 4.4W RMS output and compact shape that made the original a long-standing recommendation, and moves the power connector to USB-C. Built-in passive radiators extend the low end further than drivers this size would otherwise manage.

Plug and Play

Setup is a single USB-C cable for power and a 3.5mm aux lead for audio, with no drivers or software to install. Frequency response runs from 80Hz to 20kHz with an 85dB signal-to-noise ratio. It is the straightforward option where the V3's Bluetooth is not needed.

45-Degree Angled Drivers

The drivers sit at a 45-degree upward angle rather than firing horizontally across the desk. That matters more than it sounds: desktop speakers normally point at your chest, so the treble detail never reaches you. Angling them up aims the sound at seated ear height, which is why the Pebble sounds clearer than its size suggests.

Single-Cable Simplicity

Powering and feeding audio over a single USB cable is the Pebble range's practical advantage. There is no mains adapter to find a socket for and no separate audio lead, so the desk stays uncluttered and the speakers can move between machines in seconds. Digital USB audio also bypasses the motherboard's analogue output, which on many PCs is a source of hiss and interference.
