DeepCool PQ1200G 1200W 80 PLUS Platinum Fully Modular ATX Power Supply - Black - R-PQC00G-FD1B-JGUK-V1

The DeepCool PQ1200G is a 1200W fully modular ATX power supply with 80 PLUS Platinum certification. Fully modular cabling means only the cables your build needs get connected, improving airflow and making for a considerably tidier finished build. 80 PLUS Platinum certification keeps efficiency high and waste heat down.

80 PLUS Platinum Efficiency

80 PLUS Platinum certification means a high proportion of the power drawn from the wall reaches your components as usable DC output rather than being lost as heat. That reduces both running costs and the thermal load your case fans have to handle. Platinum sits a tier above Gold, which is where most mainstream supplies stop.

Fully Modular Cabling

Fully modular means every cable detaches, including the 24-pin, so only what your build actually uses gets connected. That matters most on higher-wattage units, which ship with a large cable complement that would otherwise have to be compressed behind the motherboard tray. The result is better airflow and a noticeably cleaner build.

1200W of Headroom

At 1200W this unit suits a high-end processor paired with a current graphics card, including the transient power spikes modern GPUs produce during load changes. Those brief surges can trip protection circuits on under-specified supplies even when average draw sits comfortably within the rating, which is why buying with headroom matters more than the average figure suggests.
