Fractal Design Refine 2 Mesh Dark Gaming Chair - FD-CH-RE2M-01

Fractal Design Refine 2 Mesh Dark Gaming Chair - FD-CH-RE2M-01

The Refine 2 is the second generation of Fractal's ergonomic gaming chair, with a redesigned dual-pad lumbar support system, lockable 4D armrests and expanded adjustment ranges. A synchro-tilt reclining mechanism moves with your body rather than against it, with adjustable tension and lockable positions. This dark model uses mesh upholstery.

Dual-Pad Lumbar Support

The redesigned lumbar system uses two flexible pads rather than a single fixed block, adjustable for both depth and height so the support meets your spine where it actually curves. Lower-back support is the difference between a chair that stays comfortable for a full working day and one that does not, and a fixed pad rarely suits everyone. The pads flex with movement instead of holding you rigidly in one position.

Adjustment That Actually Matters

Lockable 4D armrests adjust in height, depth, width and angle, which lets you support your forearms at desk height without lifting your shoulders. Badly positioned armrests are one of the most common and least recognised causes of neck and shoulder fatigue. The seat adjusts for both height and depth, and the headrest is height-adjustable, so the chair fits a wide range of body sizes rather than assuming an average.

Synchro-Tilt Recline

The synchro-tilt mechanism reclines the backrest and seat together in a coordinated motion, following your body rather than pivoting around a single fixed point. Tension is adjustable to suit your weight, and the tilt locks at your chosen position. Small posture changes through the day matter more than any single 'correct' position, and a mechanism that moves with you encourages them.

Mesh Upholstery

Nylon-reinforced mesh keeps air moving against your back, which makes a real difference in a warm room or during long sessions where fabric and leather-style surfaces trap heat. Mesh also avoids the sticking sensation those materials can produce in summer.
