Description
Kingston FURY Beast 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 5600MT/s CL36 Memory Kit - Black - KF556C36BBEK2-32
This Kingston kit provides 32GB of DDR5 memory as 2 matched 16GB modules, rated at 5600MHz with CL36 timings. Running as a matched dual-channel kit delivers the full memory bandwidth a single module cannot.
DDR5 at 5600MHz
5600MHz DDR5 sits in the range most builders target, and CL36 timings are what separate a genuinely quick kit from one that simply advertises a high frequency. Latency and frequency have to be read together: a fast kit with loose timings can perform worse than a slower one with tight ones. On AMD's AM5 platform 6000MT/s aligns with the optimal Infinity Fabric ratio, which is why that speed grade consistently produces the best real-world results. XMP and EXPO profiles mean reaching rated speed is a matter of enabling one profile in the BIOS rather than tuning by hand.
DDR5 Architecture
DDR5 moves voltage regulation onto the module itself via an onboard power management IC, giving each stick tighter control of its own power delivery and contributing to stability at higher frequencies. On-die ECC corrects single-bit errors within the DRAM, which improves reliability over DDR4 without being the same thing as full server ECC. Higher densities also mean larger capacities per module than DDR4 allowed.
Matched Dual-Channel Kit
Buying 2 modules as a matched kit matters more than it might appear. Modules from the same kit are tested together at the rated speed and timings, whereas combining two separately bought sticks, even of the same model, can fail to run at their rated profile. Dual-channel operation also roughly doubles effective memory bandwidth compared with a single module, which shows up in integrated graphics performance and in memory-sensitive games.
Low Profile Design
Without an RGB diffuser the heat spreader stays low, so clearance under a large tower air cooler is not the problem it becomes with taller kits. That suits builds with a big air cooler, compact cases, or systems where the side panel is solid and lighting would never be seen. The aluminium spreader still handles thermal dissipation properly.
