The KLEVV CRAS V RGB is a 32GB dual-channel DDR5 kit running at 6000MHz with tight CL28 timings, built on SK Hynix A-Die. Addressable RGB lighting across the top of each module makes it a centrepiece in a glass side-panel build, and the industrial aluminium heat spreader keeps thermals in check. Intel XMP 3.0 and AMD EXPO profiles are pre-programmed for one-click setup on either platform.

DDR5-6000 CL28: Tighter Than the Standard

DDR5-6000 with CL28 timings is an unusually tight combination and a genuine step beyond the CL30 kits that dominate this speed. Frequency alone only tells half the story: latency is what determines how quickly the memory responds to a request, and dropping from CL30 to CL28 shortens that at the same clock speed. On AMD's AM5 platform 6000MT/s also aligns with the optimal Infinity Fabric ratio, making this pairing about as well matched as DDR5 gets for gaming. Full timings are 28-36-36-76.

SK Hynix A-Die

The modules use SK Hynix A-Die, which matters more than most spec-sheet entries. KLEVV is a brand of Essencore, an SK Hynix affiliate, so it has direct access to the ICs rather than buying them on the open market. A-Die is the die memory overclockers actively seek out for its headroom and consistency, so there is real scope to tune beyond the rated profile. On-die ECC and an onboard PMIC handle data integrity and power delivery at module level, both DDR5 improvements over DDR4.

Addressable RGB and Aluminium Heat Spreader

Addressable RGB lighting runs the full length of each module's diffuser and synchronises with the major motherboard lighting ecosystems, so the memory participates in the build's overall scheme rather than sitting apart from it. The heat spreader is machined from refined aluminium for effective thermal conductivity, finished in an industrial black design. Note the module height of 44mm, which is taller than a low-profile kit, so check clearance if you run a large air cooler.

XMP 3.0 and AMD EXPO Ready

Both Intel XMP 3.0 and AMD EXPO profiles are pre-programmed onto the modules, so reaching the rated 6000MHz CL28 means enabling a profile in the BIOS rather than tuning timings by hand.
