Description

MSI MPG VIXTA 300R AIRFLOW PZ ATX Mid Tower Case - Mesh (EZ-Snap) Front, 3 x ARGB Fans - Black - MPG VIXTA 300R AIRFLOW PZ

The MSI MPG VIXTA 300R AIRFLOW PZ is an ATX mid tower with a floating base design that opens 75mm of intake space beneath the chassis. The Airflow version uses an EZ-Snap mesh front panel with two 160mm ARGB fans mounted where they do most good, pulling air straight through toward the graphics card and processor. Project Zero support covers back-connect motherboards alongside standard ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX. Finished in black.

Mesh Front with Dual 160mm Fans

The Airflow model is the thermally focused choice of the two. Swapping the glass front for fine mesh removes the restriction a solid panel places on intake, and MSI mounts two 160mm ARGB fans there rather than the 140mm units used elsewhere in the range. Larger fans move the same air at lower speed, so they are quieter for equivalent airflow. The EZ-Snap front panel powers those fans through wireless pogo pins, so removing it for cleaning means no cable to unplug.

Floating Base Design

The floating base is what gives the VIXTA its look and a genuine thermal purpose. Raising the chassis creates 75mm of open intake space underneath, so bottom-mounted fans draw completely unobstructed air rather than fighting a carpet or a few millimetres of clearance. MSI also treats that space as display area, intended for figures or desk items, which turns an airflow decision into a design feature.

Project Zero Back-Connect Support

The PZ suffix denotes Project Zero support, meaning the case accepts back-connect motherboards where all the connectors sit on the rear of the board. Routing every cable behind the motherboard tray produces an interior with essentially no visible wiring, which matters far more on a case designed to be looked at. Standard ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX boards fit too, so the case does not lock you into back-connect hardware.

EZ DIY Building Features

MSI's EZ DIY features are the practical half of the design: tool-free top and side panels that pull off and snap back in seconds, a magnetic snap-and-lock PSU cover, and 35mm of cable routing space behind the tray with a 1-to-4 ARGB and PWM control board so the pre-installed fans connect to a single header. An adjustable GPU holder comes pre-installed, which takes the weight of a heavy card off the PCIe slot and prevents the sag that causes connection problems over time. Front I/O includes a USB 20Gbps Type-C port.
